| The
Society gives at least three major concerts
at Llandaff Cathedral each year and our repertoire embraces a broad
range of major choral works. Please see our current programme
by clicking on the Programme link above. The Society was established in 1938 and throughout its history has been a major force in the musical life of the city. We are also delighted to sing in Cathedral services such as the annual Christmas carol service and we support a number of charitable organisations. Historical information about the Society can be found by clicking on the History link above. Our present conductor is Dominic Neville, a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where he won a Choral Scholarship to sing in the world famous Choir of King's College. He is an Academic Lecturer in Music at the National conservatoire of Wales - The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama - and combines this post with conducting the choirs of Cardiff Metropolitan Cathedral and its Choir School at St John's College. We welcome new singers to the Society and we would be very pleased to hear from prospective members. For further information please click on the Contacts link above. |
| The Society is affiliated to the Welsh Amateur Music Federation and is a member of Making Music. It is listed with British Choirs on the Net and with Gerontius and the links below will take you to them. |
